Building the future

It’s finally time: After three full years of planning, the International Department (ID) will begin construction on a new auditorium with barrier-free accessibility and fully-equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

The Hector Foundation, and a special thanks to Senator Dr. Hans-Werner Hector, have the objectives of the International Department close to their hearts. The ID is a gateway for young talented students who want to study in Germany at the KIT. They contribute to bringing prosperity and peace to societies through the skills they bring with them, but also the skills they are taught here.

The International Department strives to create opportunities that allow you to study successfully, to learn about the newest technologies in engineering and the sciences.
